Living Stone Gateways are short intensive intercultural trainings and leadership development programs in travel format. Our itineraries offer unique introductions to the world's most fascinating places, and in-depth, expert-led programs. By focusing on educational travel for limited-size groups, and specializing in exclusive access to local networks, we've built a reputation for outstanding service. Living Stone Gateways lead to destinations on four continents where we are at home: China, India, Indonesia, Russia, South Africa, Turkey, UA Emirates. Living Stone creates and leads intercultural training and leadership development tours for many leading business, academic and membership organizations.
- Living Stone Gateways address the very deep issues of how people lives their lives differently and how they see the world. It is our belief that grass-roots intercultural dialogue is often the best way to build bridges between citizens of different nations. Therefore we do not consider it appropriate to condemn or condone political actions, be they foreign or domestic.
- A one week travel experience focuses on adjustment to daily life and dealing with a culture different from ours. In formal and informal contacts, through culture and gastronomy participants explore their cultural barriers. We experience how the host country can charm or confuse. Professional facilitators and local tour managers escort every tour to ensure the quality of service.
- Living Stone facilitators and experts build a comprehensive lecture and discussion series into each destination. The Living Stone intercultural training toolkit supports the participant’s process of self awareness as well as his understanding of forces that shape cultures such as history, linguistic, political factors.
