Pre-Departure and Orientation

To work or study effectively and live happy in a new country, one basically needs to know four things: the local language (elementary or advanced); the basics of the new country’s history, politics, business norms; how cultural values affect behavior; why moving to a new country can be difficult. A pre-departure training or orientation session will help to manage these challenges.
Living Stone Gateway to heal the expatriates separation process

Re-Entry Matters
Returning “home” and making the necessary social and psychological re-adjustments can present challenges as significant as those faced when going abroad, not only for the individual, but also for organizations and companies.
A guided re-entry session in the debriefing phase will ease the transition process and encourage the repatriate and his/her environment to welcome and integrate new knowledge and skills.
Are you an IEP ?
An Intercultural Effective Person (IEP) is aware about the amount of input needed to adapt to the new environment. He/she will seek advice before feelings of uncertainty and anxiety arise. For instance, what constitutes socially appropriate behaviour in the new cultural context? How to open a conversation, build trust and make friends? How to collaborate effectively confronted with different hierarchical norms and values ? How to manage the differences or conflicts?
Please contact our customer service for a briefing or a program. We want you to be an IEP, an Intercultural Effective Person who lives contentedly and works succesfully in a new country.
